The Baptist General State Convention of Illinois exists to unite member congregations in shared fellowship, worship, and mission under the theme Seasons of Growth: Growing Spiritually Through Evangelism. Our churches span communities across the state, each bringing its own gifts, traditions, and ministries to the larger body of Christ. Together, these congregations support one another through prayer, auxiliaries, and resources designed to strengthen pastoral leadership, Christian education, and outreach. The directory of member churches serves as a living map of this fellowship, reflecting the many ways God is at work through Baptist believers in Illinois and inviting every congregation to participate fully in the life and purpose of the convention.

A healthy convention depends on accurate and current information about its member churches. When congregations update their details, move to new locations, or welcome new leadership, the directory must reflect those changes so that fellowship, communication, and mutual support remain strong. We encourage pastors, church clerks, and designated representatives to review their church's listing regularly and to share any corrections with the convention office. By keeping our records up to date, we honor the connections that bind us together and ensure that every member church can be reached, encouraged, and included in the seasons of growth God is bringing to our fellowship.
